Dano Gorman Carbon 2's

A merry Xmas to you all from the conference UK! We hope those stockings were filled with multiple conference products.
Our little ripper from Dublin received the Carbon 2's just in time for xmas and below is what he had to say about them along with a short video of his first day in them.
A huge thankyou to Donal Glackin for shooting these rad photos of young Gorman!

I have skated both the Deshi carbons and the first USD carbon skate. I have loved the carbon skate since day one, but the USD Carbon 2 has improved in so many ways! The skate feels so much nicer than the previous carbon skates. With the extra padding around the back of the liners makes the skate so much more comfortable and the new Cuff gives your ankle way more support on topside tricks. Also the new metal buckle looks way stronger than the previous plastic buckles that I had some problems with on the Deshi and USD carbon skate.
This skate is unbelievably good and I recommend them for any one that thought that the previous carbon skates had bad ankle support, because these ones have improved in that area more than anywhere else.

The Carbon 2 is available at your favorite skate shop NOW. For any queries please get in contact, a.kola@powerslide.org, or if you have any photos of you skating in them, send them over and we'll do our best to get them up on the site!

Xmas is upon us and Nick Lomax has just made a nice edit skating the frozen over Manchester. He's also trying to trick us into thinking he's cultured by visiting china town and pretending to order sushi...

Andrew Halls - Xsjado Supporter

Andrew Halls is our first follower to send in a photo of themselves repping our gear. 'Hallsy' has been around the UK scene for a while and has made a good ol' name for himself.
Seen here knocking out a topsoul in Portsmouth, cheers Sam Kew for the photo.

Please keep sending in submissions to be featured on our site, a.kola@powerslide.org.

Neil Ingall Xsjado UK

As well as living the high life mingling with all the stars in London and infecting everyone with his charisma and charm, Neil has just recovered from a knee injury and is back on his blades again.
Neil also rides for the louts that are 'Dirt Box' and has just had a long sleeve T shirt produced to go into their new line that has just launched, so all go rep that and i'm sure you'll magically be given the lady luck that Neil possesses!
Below are a few clips captured from when we went skating one day dubbed over with some words about what skating has brought to his life. Neil has been reading 'Carl Jung Man and his symbols' and had this to say...
"Carl Jung Man and his symbols, he studied under Freud then found loop holes in Freud's teaching and started to see the world of psychological analysis very differently. Analyzed over 800 patients using dream analysis and the sorts of symbols that appeared in patients dreams, became detrimental to the analysis.
It is a really nice book and very interesting reading the recollections of the dreams, it is sort of like reading short stories"

Glasgow shredded

So our main man from Dublin, USD flowrider Dano Gorman managed to find a working plane in the snow blizzard to venture over to Glasgow with his bro Jay to attend the Roll Kings jam in East Kilbride, Scotland.
Check out their documentation of the trip below, as well as a sneaky clip of our own Joe Atkinson who unfortunately showed up late due to a fair few trains and buses cancelling on him.

With the Roll Kings comp having just taken place this past Sunday, Joe is back up in bonny Scotland with his partner in crime Keir Lindsay!
Below is a video of some of what they got up, who knows what may occur next....

Animal from WWF 'Legion of Doom' fame joins USD

.......actually South Coast legend Sam Tuffnell is now strapping into a fresh pair of USD coup de tat's.
Sam has been a massive powerhouse in the British skate scene for years, but only now is his potential being recognised. Sam recently turned WRS pro in the states whilst on his whirlwind Winnebago trip across the west coast with his homeboy Keith Wisdom.
For more information on Sam and any other British conference rider keep checking back at this blog. We also have a new rider to announce very soon to join Sam and the rest of the motley crue.
For now though, check Sam out below hitting up one spot on a cold Brighton morning as well as talking about his early days of skating after first learning to grind (which being Sam was a bloody ao makio).
